Just like Tom Petty sang, I wasn't sure where this was going to lead when i started building it. Back here things almost never go as planned. So when after hundreds of man hours, calloused hands, choked lungs and bleeding knuckles it turned out to look like this, I'm not complaining.

The most popular Cafe Racer in the world. It belongs to Steve 'Carpy' Carpenter of cb750cafe.com fame. And it's on sale. Can't afford it, but it's definite inspiration.

Kit-Bits

The tank was by far the most trouble some to make.

Here in it's complete un-finished form, the threading for the fuel cap has way too many threads. Defeats the purpose of quick-fill, doens't it? Subsequent caps will open in two turns


Stainless Battery holder with punched holes for reduced weight and that WrenchMonkee feel.


The Seat was first complete. A few inches were shaved off to make the motorcycle compact. If you order one, you can have a single, one and a half (so that she fits snug) or a two seater.

After a year of  dabbling, hesitating and learning I've finally decided that it's about time to step away from the mundane. I've realised that deviating from the norm, sometimes is the norm. And that it's about time two wheels in India are looked at  not as a means of transport but as an expression of freedom, a reflection of oneself and more importantly an extension of one's persona. Whoever said a motorcycle needs a fender, a fairing or a fat tyre needs to ask themselves why for? For those of you who're open to ideas, change or just want to check out the state of lawlessness in my motorcycle world, happy browsing. Oh and i'm open to feedback and 'fuck offs' alike.
